Morbid Obesity

• Overweight and obesity are prevalent in Asia.
• Morbid obesity is a serious disease affecting Asians. A survey released in Oct 2004 by China's Ministry of Health found that the number of obese Chinese had doubled to 60 million between 1992 and 2002.
